Colorado Legacy

So, on the Sims 3 forums, I am currently doing a legacy with a little family called the Colorados ;) I am up to the third generation and am excited to be headed towards ten.

Now, when I started this legacy, I had not much idea of the "rules" associated with legacies, such as the starting out on a big expensive lot with basically nothing. Mostly I inadvertently stuck to the rules anyway (apart from that one) and it is all going according to them now, but next time I think I will definitely try to stick to them a little more.

Of course, there are TONS of legacy (and other) challenges you can look at, which can be found here. I'm doing the original 10 Gen legacy as much as I can after starting in ignorance, but there are heaps of other fun things to do.

My Colorado legacy can be found here. The earlier chapters are missing a few screenshots, for which I apologise, but the later chapters should have them all.

 
Leah Colorado was the sim who began it all. She was a beauty, alright (created by me), and moved into a tiny little place in a town called Union Cove. This was downloaded from Carl's Sims 3 Guide, which is a fantastic place for hints, tips and advice on anything you need to know for the Sims 3.

 
Leah married her political boss, the swanky Panther Character, and thus began the first generation.

Leah and Panther had 6 beautiful children (yup, 6 kids. Oh, the toddlers!!), and from them our heir was chosen for generation two.

Cassandra Colorado carried on the family name, but not with ease. Men troubles plagued our beauty, but eventually she found someone who would love her as she deserved.

Tom was sweet, quiet and sensitive, a childhood friend of Cassie who met her again at her father's party. After a romantic trip to France, Cassie and Tom married and continued the baby spamming...

5 Colorados were added to Union Cove's population. Michael and Jane (on the left) were the twins born to Cassie and her first husband, Jerod, with the other three (Chloe, Finn and Cameron) born to Cassie and Tom. A vote was again taken, and the heir for Generation 3 was chosen...

Cameron Colorado (who has Grandma Leah's eyes ^_^) was selected to continue the Colorado legacy.

He married his High School sweetheart, Gina East, and so far the two lovebirds have had 2 little boys to set the generation going:

And the adorable Harrison Colorado, a clumsy loner.
